The Design Process
Idea sketches are just that. Rough sketches that give you an idea of what the finished logo will look like. There is no colour or defined fonts, just the basic idea. Although they are rough, they are the development of an idea that started out with very rough thumbnail pencil doodles. There may be dozens done before moving on to an idea sketch that can be shown to you, the client. The idea here is to determine whether this is the direction you feel will work for your logo. Rather than showing you developed concepts right off the bat, this will steer us in the right direction.

Developed concepts take the idea sketches to a more refined stage. Although they may look finished, they are not as polished and still lack colour or some of the finer details that will complete your vision. The fonts and elements used at this stage may still need some refinement or could change altogether. However, it will give the client a good idea of what the finished logo will look like.
